Our Story
In May of 2022, Five Star Flips Corporation was founded by Vallejo native owners, Veronica and Samey Watson, after they pursued their dream of flipping houses and turning them into welcoming homes for their clients.
Veronica and Samey are local investors in Solano County who started investing in 2014 with their first home located in Vallejo, CA. While living in their family’s generational home, they renovated the home and sold it shortly after finding out they were expecting their first child! The Watsons quickly realized they could earn a living by pursuing their dream of becoming investors and utilizing their expertise in home renovation to transform properties and add value. Five Star Flips’ goal is to assist all home buyers in achieving success. They understand buying a home is one of the most expensive and important financial decisions in one’s lifetime, which is why they prioritize renovating unwanted properties into safe, clean, and modern conditions.
Meet Veronica:
Veronica is the President of Five Star Flips who brings the creative eye in designing each project. Veronica manages all administrative responsibilities, drawing on her background in Human Resources to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Veronica also has a full-time career at one of the nation’s largest physician-owned medical malpractice insurance companies. She has many years of banking, risk management, and coordinating experience. Veronica, a full-time mother of two who never misses her kids’ extra-curricular activities, enjoys swimming, golfing, music, and spending time with family and friends.
Meet Samey:
Samey is Veronica’s husband and business partner who is the laborer and deliverer of everything transformative on all projects. As the CFO and Project Manager of Five Star Flips, Samey is responsible for overseeing their team of renovators and solidifying that all labor is completed to the highest satisfaction from start to finish. Samey has 20 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in operating heavy equipment and has many years of commercial and residential electrical experience. Samey, a full-time father, enjoys catching a local sports game, traveling to new destinations, and cooking in the kitchen.
